Heather Hammonds is a full time author, living and working in Melbourne, Australia. To date she has written more than 200 books for children, including titles for the Educational market in series such as the multi-award winning PM series with Cengage Learning,Nelson Literary Directions with Cengage Learning and Macmillan Australia Topics. She is co-author of the ever-popular Guided Reading series, Nelson Focus (also sold as Rigby Focus). Heather also writes for the Trade market and has a number of books published with Hinkler Books such as Ancient Egypt and the best-selling Dog Tricks and Training boxed set and DVD, for both adults and children alike. Fiction titles include Thunder Box, Monkey Business and Bargains from Outer Space.
