Biography

Heather Miles has three published books in the Merger Series. MERGER, MERGER UNDONE and MERGER COMPLETE. The complete box set is available on all platforms.

SAYING YES is a standalone novel and a true labor of love. CLAIMING EMERSON is the next series that will be released in January 2016.

Heather, originally from Kansas City, lives in Cleveland, Mississippi. The heart of the Mississippi Delta and home of the blues. She is married, has two children and two unruly dogs that keep her constantly on the move.

Smashwords Interview

How has Smashwords contributed to your success?

Smashwords is a new platform for me and I have yet to measure its success. I have two published works on Amazon and Createspace and never considered any other platforms until I was asked by my readers to submit to Nook, Apple and Kobo. Only time will tell if Smashwords is the best platform to market my novels.

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?

The creativity of seeing my characters come to life on the pages. The way I have an idea of how my story will unfold and how my plot and characters alter and change that story in unexpected ways. Finally, it's really about the readers. There's no greater joy than to have someone who's read your work, contact you and tell you how much they enjoyed the book and can't wait to read more.
