Helen Ellis

Biography

Helen has often wondered whether, in a previous life, she lived out a span in Greece, for she keeps being drawn back, year after year, exploring more of the country as though she was searching for a special place.

Helen's travel writing includes, "Paros", published in Lonely Planet’s "Rite of Passage - Tales of Backpacking Round Europe", P.168, (2003), a photo/para "postcard" of Israel in "The Asia Book", (2008) P.216, and her latest travel piece on Greece - "Ancient Charms for the Young-at-heart" which appeared in the Sunday News Limited newspapers in Australia.

Earlier, Helen wrote an eBook called "Greece - Gleeful Glimpses", and several novels with Greece as the setting, but her memoir "Make Mine a Moussaka" is her most recent work. Her pieces have also appeared in various online magazines. And you can view her folio of Greek photographs on her website - http://greekpixandwords.com.
