Biography
Mike Holmes is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor who now resides in Los Angeles. Originally from Waterloo, Iowa, Mike started writing and performing stand-up while attending the University of Iowa. He moved to Chicago in 2003 where he was a founding cast member of the show Chicago Underground Comedy and the comedy website blerds.com. In 2007, New City Magazine named him one of Chicago's Top Ten Comedians, saying: "Holmes mixes equal parts observation and frustrated cynicism, and it's funny every time."
He has lived in Los Angeles since 2007 where he performs regularly and works as the care-taker to a celebrity chameleon.
