What a wonderful tribute to the love so seldom shared between a husband and wife during their finest hour escalating into their darkest. The honesty with which Richard expresses,through the title, Then Came Cancer, how much their lives changed, but remained a Love Story, is empowering. The hopes and fears that humble one family and bring them together because their love endures makes you cling to every word until the last. I will forever be touched by the strength that Terri and Richard display throughout each new situation with which they are confronted. This is a must read for any spouse who feels left alone after surviving the death of a loved one. Richard's gift of putting into words that which we lack, brings out emotions that have been forgotten. It allows us the capability to move on while remembering the gift of true love.
