My first book by Farrah Rochon and I absolutely enjoyed it!!! There are aspects that reminded me of The Wedding Date movie but do not compare or be turned off by reading this - this book is worth being read!
Out of the three (in the series so far) this was the easiest/shortes to read - that being said it was still awesome!! I love Tor and I have a soft spot for Noc (cannot wait for his story!)...
KA does it again and takes her readers to another "world"! I cannot wait to read the rest of the series all the KA books are addictive!
I enjoyed this book but as others have already commented here (and goodreads) there are facets which I found disturbing/annoying but afterawhile I got over it and got into the story.
TIP I don't really watch Game of Thrones but (I think) from what I have seen (parts involving Daenarys and Drogo) helped paint the scene and setting for this book - so if you are unsure if you want to read it youtube GOT and get an idea.
I found the story quite slow (took me 3 days to finish) and not til 100+ pages in did I get into it.
Now having finished I can't wait to see how the story progresses and also appreciate the build up from when her grandfather's death to where she is now - Hopefully the next two books are faster paced.
My first NC book and loved it - even before I reached the end I knew I had to get any other books she had written!!
For those who have yet to read any NC books I think this is the book to start with. The heroes from The Mating and The Finding are both briefly mentioned here - the younger College versions.
I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!
I have my moments when I need to feed my Regency Romance appetite and this book absolutely did it for me!!! I enjoyed the chemistry between the two main characters!
It's quite a long read yet I kept wanting more.. cannot wait to check out the other books!
