I was given this book by the author for an honest review.
For me this book started out a little slow, I did really enjoy it. I loved the little town of Nowhere Junction, Texas. I love the people of this
small town, the characters you have got to love them. Just good old country people. They truly make this book. Buffy is a good mom in a
bad situation finding out the sperm bank didn't give her, her husband sperm but a stranger. She decides he needs to know and maybe
become apart of his daughters life. Carter took it better then most men would, in fact better then I thought he would. You have the bad
husband who hides his money and Carter comes in a saves the day. I did think the end came to fast, it was nice but missing more.
All in all it was a nice cute read.
There is a little humor not laugh out loud but lots of smiles. It was a good read. I am sure you will enjoy this book.

WOW this book started off and didn't stop through out it. It starts out with Kate being chased by men and Ethan saving her and helping her look for his brother. She doesn't trust him due to what his brother said. The men chasing didn't stop there, they turn up every time you turn around, throw in a few Indian children, a wild wolf, ghost, spirits and a few other things and you have a great read. You find yourself pulled into the story, looking for the brother who is looking for gold, but really wanting to find the father, seems everyone is looking for Ethan brother but not all for the same reason.
There is all the romance you could ask for, the good and the bad along with the sad, throw in a little humor and you have a good read. Kate finds out a few things about Ethan's past that she doesn't know if she can forget much less forgive. To find the answers you will have to read the book. I promise you will not be disappointed.
This was a very lovely book, the writing in it was great. The authors illustrates where out of this world. The characters were realistic and the plot was interesting. The beginning of this book was very good for me, then I got lost and bored but it picked back up and it was a repeat. To much information for me which isn’t a bad thing if you like this kind of thing. The author put a lot in to this book, it was well written and the flow was nice.
You'll fall in love with Emma, laugh with Jez, and want to slap Michael for the stupid choices he makes. There are so many tragedies and personal struggles, grief and lies. Churches can be to controlling and you will find in this book they are. We all have to have something to believe in to make life worth wild. Arranged marriages are never easy but when a church arranges them according to the alignment of the stars at the time of the bride's birth it is a little weird. It is hard to believe a church can have so much power and control. I find it believable this happens still in our country today. Maybe not to this level but it does. I give this book a 4 star due to the writing style and illustrates. I could have done with less information, for me it just makes the mind wonder for a little while. I do believe this author will go far in her writing but for me this book just didn’t do it. I got lost to many times. Sorry.
When I picked this book up to read I wasn’t expecting it to have everything a great book has all in one place. You have humor, mystery, passion, heartbreak, death, and above all else love and so much more. What else could you ask for in a book. The author gives you a wonderful story that flows so easy. You will not want to put this book down, it is truly a lovely wonderful story.
Meg find out not only is her husband a cheat but gives another women the one things she want most in live a child. This leave Meg broken, untrusting, she needs to get away. Her father tells her to go back to his hometown. What she finds is a little town with lots of nosey people who knows everything about everybody. Is this a town where she can heal, find herself and put a life together to go home to?
JT is a strong passionate man who seems to be the town’s player. He isn’t looking for love nor a woman. JT hasn’t had a good life, abuse by this father who has been missing for years. He knows he cannot every have a wife, abuse runs in his family. He is so afraid what he will do if he loses his temper and will not take the chance. Can he overcome his fears, can he find true love and have all that he dreams?
There are a ton of wonderful characters whose humor will keep you laughing as they stick their nose all over the place. Great Aunt Annie is something, you have to laugh not only at her but with her. She just knows Meg and JT are made for each other, all she needs to do is get them to see it and find a dog. There are characters in this book you will want to kill, others you just want to love and you don’t want the story to end.
In walk the coal company who wants the land, are they the ones causing the accidents? Will this be the end of Preston’s Mills as we know it? Will peoples greed get in the way or will their love for their town stand?
The author tells a shocking and raw story of today world. It is shame we have come to this, sad but true. It’s a disturbing and emotionally charged book, with drugs and human trafficking, that the author put a lot of thought and time into. This book had me on the edge of my seat wondering where it would lead. As you read this book you wonder who you can trust and who you need to stay away from.
This story was on the dark side, when I read something of this nature I prefer it be true but it was a good read, with lots of twist and turns. The author will have you on the edge hanging on, wondering where she will take you next. It is a very fast paced with characters that make you happy you are home in your safe house with the biggest worry you have is how to pay your bills.
This book will keep you entertain all the way through to the end. This book in action packed and well written, is it believable? Just pick up a newspaper I am sure you will find something of this nature in it. Pick up a true crime and I know you will find something very close to this book.
