Karen Robbins

Biography

As a full time mom, a teacher, a businesswoman, a paralegal student, a travel addict, and diver, Karen has had a wealth of experiences that contribute to her story ideas and speaking topics. In 1987, she sold her first written piece for publication in Standard, a Sunday School take-home paper. Since then she has published over 250 articles and essays in various Christian publications and written columns for a local newspaper and several regional magazines. For two years she produced a newsletter for new adult readers in the Project: LEARN organization of Cleveland. Karen has been a contributing author many compilation books including the Chicken Soup For The Soul series. She coauthored A Scrapbook of Christmas Firsts and A Scrapbook of Motherhood Firsts. Her previous novels include Divide The Child and Murder Among The Orchids.
Karen has been married to her husband Bob for 44 years. They met at Put-In-Bay, OH, where Bob drove cab for a summer and Karen worked in a pizza shop. They have five children (grandchildren being added regularly). Now that their children have grown and left the nest, Bob and Karen have been able to travel extensively having visited all of the seven continents.
