If you like short stories from the crypt (or just from a fantastic imagination) you will find lots of little treats in this book. You get an awful lot of value for your dollar. Whether vampires, sci-fi, or horror is your bag, you will find a story to cringe, cheer, or otherwise enjoy within these pages.

Anyone who can remember what it felt like to be on the outside looking in during high school (or who is currently having that experience if still a teen), will immediately resonate with Becca Wilkinson, the protagonist of Wasteland and other books in the upcoming Kin trilogy. It can be a healing experience to hear our own inner angst expressed so eloquently by a talented writer like Ms. Williams, but the real reward of this book is not cheap therapy; it's an intriguing storyline that is skillfully revealed through artful narrative and convincingly authentic dialogue. If mystery and character exposition are your game, this is one you'll want to have in your toy chest. And for under a buck, it's a sure thing to be worth your investment of both time and money. If you are able to relate sympathetically to this sort of character, you are sure to enjoy this insightful journey through Becca's personal Wasteland.
