John Krohn PhD

Biography

John Krohn is a Corporate Executive Coach, and Professional Development Trainer for corporate directors, managers, and supervisors. His primary work life focus has been as a Traumatologist with a specializing in PTSD related work related issues. He is a Level II EMDR therapist, and trained in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD). Dr. Krohn is also a member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. He has worked as a professional consultant serving a variety of organizations in the public, private and non-profit fields. Dr. Krohn has also worked with the USFS, BLM, NPS, City, State, and Federal government agencies providing Drug Free Workplace training for Supervisors and Employees, Change Management Workshops, and throughout his career he has provided EEOC compliance workshops in Diversity Training, Hostile Work Environment, and Sexual Harassment Compliance Workshops.

As an author, he has published college level distance learning course training in Christian Counseling, Adolescent Psychology, and Crisis Counseling. He has published numerous articles on Christian living, mental health issues, and spiritual growth. He developed the blog, The Quiet Place in 2010 which focuses on deepening spiritual communion and worship with God, especially in the midst of the difficult and painful life experiences that people experience in the lifetime.
