Biography
I write simply because the stories and ideas have been trapped in my head since I was a kid. I was not into reading as a child mainly because it was forced on me and I was not allowed to discover it on my own. However, I have been making up stories and telling them since I could talk and once I got exposed to books I liked I was hooked.
Unlike many authors, my read list is still small mainly because I found myself watching more than reading. It seems to be a taboo to say that since most writers have read a ton of books. For this and other reasons I guess I do not consider myself a normal writer, more a storyteller.
I write based on visuals and try to pace more like a series of televisions shows. I deeply care about character and dialog and like to set the scene and let the story unfold. Many of my stories come from watching the various Outer Limits and Twilight Zone series. I was also very much into graphic novels and comic books.
My goal is to tell a good story and get people who might normally not read into reading. Some people might look down on books about wizards, vampires and werewolves, but if it gets more people reading it is a good thing. Reading should be a joy available to everyone no matter if its short stories, comic books or novels. The point is to enjoy the imagination and words of others and hopeful it makes your day a little better.
