I purchased Firenight for my teenage daughter, but sneaked a peak to see what she was reading – and couldn’t put the damn book down! I got drawn in by the honesty of the main character and felt for her almost immediately. Her nuances when chasing her “first love” are both funny and poignant. The second half of the book reads at a quick pace. It’s filled with plenty of suspense and well-written adventure. I can thoroughly recommend Firenight and am already looking forward to the next instalment.
