James Hirt

Smashwords Interview

What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I haven't used any. I know this sounds very lazy and it is to some degree. The problem with what I write is that it's poetry. Poetry, unfortunately, doesn't sell. This is fine with me. I didn't write and publish these for money. These were just my way of venting in different times of my life. It worked. Writing these brought me closure to many things in my life.
Describe your desk
My desk has very little clutter. I do have to clean it up a bit once in a while but it never gets out of hand. My desk is a small, cheap one which doesn't fit me but not much does at 6'7".
