Smashwords Interview

What are your five favorite books, and why?
Five favorite books? Only five?

My all-time favorite author is Elin Hilderbrand. Love her! Love everything she writes. I think my favorite book is Blue Bistro. I'm a huge foodie. The book looks inside the restaurant business, the food, and of course the drama! Great women's fiction. I look forward to her books every summer (when the new one comes out, usually in June). I love the Nantucket setting. Great beach reads!

I love anything written by Sarah Dessen. If you like young adult, you'll love her. She has the greatest characters. These are straight young adult romances, using today's teens with all of the problems they face.

This one will date me, Shanna by Kathleen Woodiwiss. Kathleen Woodiwiss is the first historical romance author I ever read. I loved Shanna. I still have my copy.

Dated again—Spring Fancy by Lavyrle Spencer. I loved everything she wrote, but for some reason I've read this one many times. A simple, classic romance story.

Truly Madly Yours by Rachel Gibson. Rachel writes great contemporary romances with humor. I always laugh out loud!
What do you read for pleasure?
I love romance, all types, from historical, to contemporary, to futuristic. I love young adult books, I guess because I still feel like a teenager inside. I love women's fiction, stories that deal with family drama. Not that I need any more drama in my life!
