Biography
Born and raised in Virginia, Mrs. Stape holds a degree in education, history and English from James Madison University. "The Secret of the Whispering Well" is her first published book, and is based on characters she knows well: she is related to most of them. She is currently working on a second novel that will see Jacob, Ally, and Sam enjoying a bit of accidental time travel. Mrs. Stape lives in Wisconsin with her husband and their two cats.
