Smashwords Interview

What do your fans mean to you?
My fans are the best. They support and encourage me, and oftentimes, make my day with a great review or email. They also "tell it like it is," which I so appreciate. In other words, they're not afraid to provide constructive criticism and tell me what they really think, esp. in regard to politics. My fans mean the world to me, and it's because of them I've had many successes so far. I'm grateful to all my readers!
What are you working on next?
Good question. I started a historical fiction novel...but I have an idea that spins off of I, Putin in my head. If I manage to take I, Putin to the level I believe it has the potential to go, I'll start to research and move on that idea.

Beautiful, haunting imagery. I don't want to give it away, but the story has a great twist and ending, well, you'll have to interpret what it means. This story definitely influenced me to buy 'Story A Day May' on my Kindle!

Beautiful, haunting imagery of a tormented woman. The author provides a great twist, and the ending is up to the interpretation of the reader. This great short story definitely influenced me to buy 'Story A Day May' by Bailey!
  • Story A Day May 2011 (stories) on April 17, 2012

Morgen Bailey pens a series of flash fiction pieces, which are brief and honest. What I enjoy about A STORY A DAY MAY is how straightforward Bailey writes, which evokes a straightforward emotion, ranging from funny to sad to downright silly. She does not waste words; instead, she uses them efficiently. My favorite stories are the ever-so-quick "Late" and "A Story for Amelia Earheart." Overall, this book is a quick, exhilarating read for those who want to laugh or pause for a second to think about life.
