Biography

A broadcast journalist for forty years and winner of numerous national broadcast news awards including the Edward R. Murrow Investigative Award from the Radio TV News Director’s Association, a national radio investigative award from Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), a national investigative award from the journalism honorary, Sigma Delta Chi, and a Silver Gavel award for investigative reporting from the American Bar Association.

I am the News Director of KTOK Radio and the Clear Channel Radio operations in Oklahoma City. I’ve been with KTOK Radio News for thirty-one years.

My investigative work has covered the politics of a corrupt governor, the Oklahoma City bombing and was responsible in part for the clearance of a death row inmate in Oklahoma. My stories have been printed in numerous publications nationally.

I’m a graduate of Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas. My wife, Mary, and I have been married for thirty-eight years and we are the parents of two daughters and a son. We make our home in Yukon, Oklahoma.
