- More than Magic: Semester Aboard
on Nov. 23, 2012
This book was gifted to me for an honest review.
At first I was expecting maybe the book had something to do with ghost of some sorts, maybe some stalking and abducting. Well,I was partly right. There was alot of stalking and abduction, just not with ghost. The authors charaters are unlike any other. Each character has their own personalities to match their way of living, even their words match who they are. Like if someone was made of fire, they would say,"ashes" or of water would say, "splashy". There is much I would like to put in this review. If I keep on telling about the story there would be major spoilers because this author has an imagination that you will love and every little detail is important to the story. Can't say one thing without giving a major spoiler away. This book has magic, love and lots of crazy twist. Friendship is a big part of the story. I felt every emotion as if I was right there with them. Connections form and become so strong. I want a group of friends like them. If you like Paranormsl Romance and want to know more about the major spoilers,I hope you don't pass the chance to go on an adventure with Jenn and her amazing friends upon their Semester-Aboard.
- Baby, Species Intervention #6609 Book One

I don't read much Sci-Fi. This book called "Baby" was a very interesting read. The author of this book has a very unusual imagination. The character know as Baby reminds me of a little cute and loving Gremlin. The girl character, Netty, has had a hard life. She gets away not knowing what the future holds for her, has to be better then what she is running from. Everything doesn't go as planned. Her family farm is a mess. Her hopes for providing for herself doesn't look good. Netty wants to give up till she finds this little creature. Netty, named the little creature ,Baby. With Baby she finds comfort and peace. Little by little everything starts turning around for her. Her crops on the farm are growing and providing plenty for her. Then this guy wonders on to her farm. Shaking things up a bit, but not for long. He was of great help to her and Baby. Things were great for awhile till her past came back and made her life and everyone in it a living Hell. As I read this book I hope for the best, but everyone keep dying and become cursed. I keep thinking things would get better for Netty. Nope. The author must have liked death, but the story did keep me on alert as one by one came closer to death. I didn't like the use of GD in the story.
- Armageddon Cometh, Species Intervention #6609 Book Three

I really don't know what to say! This book was even better than book 2. I did't even think it could be possible because book 2 was amazing. I love how the author switches up chapters with different events from the last chapter I read. It keep me on my on edge so you don't get bored. I would read more of the book longer not wanting to stop. Reading one chapter so you can read the next chapter to found out what happens in a previous chapter I already have read. There is so much happening in this book. Netty and Baby, from book 1, decides to make an appearence to Abby. Abby and Echo keeps the mission a secret from everyone except Peter. She needs his help to put the plan in motion. The Womb offers to help. When time come she boards her Yaght assisted by followers. Followers that Abby is helping Echo and The Womb to protect and some extra company like Peter, Peters girlfriend, The Captian and his son and many more freaked out people. They just happened to be at the wrong place and at the wrong time. There is so much more I would love to put in this review, but it don't want to kill the suspense. There are some situations that happen that I went back a few line and thought, "Did she really say that or They did what?" Just as long as Echo knows what she is doing, I think everything will be O.K.! Or Not?
- Hive, Species Intervention #6609, Book Four

I don't know where the author got her ideas for this story. She has a vivid imagination. Everything was perfect. I loved the characters. I loved the plot. I sat down and read this book in a few hours. I just could not pull away. So fastanating the way Netty, Wil and Baby make an appearance. So many secrets. So much to learn. The Hive sounds like it would be an awesome place to stay. So many awful things were happening outside the Womb. When The guy named, Seth came along. I thought finally someone nice. I was so dead wrong. The authors series is so full of suprises and pain. Very few happy times when dealing with everything Abby had to do. Everything didn't work out as planned. Abby tried her best to do as Netty asked of her. The people that followered Abby, Scotty Jose and the animals were getting restless and confused and wanted answers. With Netty, Wil and Baby's help, Thing would soon fall into order. Not knowing how long they had to stay in the Hive worried some. Some of their loved ones were still out in the choas beyond the Hive. Losing hope of ever see them again. Friendship and relationships start to form bonds as they try to live out the Armageddon and survive. The story has you hanging with so many unanswered questions. I hope book 5 comes soon.
