He is an author of short stories, newspaper and magazine articles, and song lyrics. He studied Drama at Butte Jc Calif., and Journalism at Fresno State College before receiving a degree in electronics, moving on to Louisiana where he now lives in the little town of Benton with his wife, two kids, and a granddaughter
