When the Tiger Roars

This is a wonderful story about growing up and the changing relationships with friends, as well as the art of rediscovering your childhood world. All the characters were artfully developed and the story held that one quality that is so important in a good story - the element of suspense. I was intrigued from the start, wondering about these two boys seeking the tiger that had beset their town, and the story unfolded beautifully. Pavithra Rao is a great new writer to watch!
