J.F. Kristin, AKA editor and writer Jennifer Farwell, has been writing since the day she picked up a navy blue Crayola and began scribbling on her parents' freshly painted white walls. In a previous life as a web designer, Jennifer ran the Society for Preventing Parents from Naming Their Children Jennifer (SPPNTCJ), a tongue-in-cheek web site that welcomed millions of visitors during its run, received coverage from print, broadcast, and online media, was included in an academic textbook, and was studied on a college course.

Jennifer has an honors Bachelor of Journalism degree and a Master of Arts degree in English, both received from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. She is currently at work on her second novel.

  This is a very helpful guide not just for authors, but for anyone involved with online retailing. Outside of fiction writing, I work in and write about ecommerce, and some of the tips listed here (updating email signature, social media, an announcement email to friends, family, and other colleages, coupons, etc.) are ideas or best practices I encourage online merchants to explore. Good work, and well worth an author's time to read!
