After trying several different careers (chef, soldier, ESL teacher), he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History, and later followed it with a Masters of Arts in Communications.

His writing is heavily influenced by his experiences and education. He lives in Edmonton, Canada with his family, working in the Public Relations field and writings in his spare time. He is an avid reader, world traveller, movie goer, gamer, and internet surfer.
