When did you first start writing?
I can't really remember a time when I didn't write. I remember my father took me to the big library in town one day. It's one of my earliest memories. I loved the smell of the place and the sheer number of bright and colourful books. As soon as I picked up a book I knew that I wanted to write my own.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I often have a general idea of what I want to write before I start out. The greatest joy of writing for me is when the characters take on a life of their own and lead me in different directions. That's when I know I have something that's worth pursuing.
