Review by: James E. Huffman on June 26,2011 Great Book! I found this novel to be very informative and quite intriguing. The historical perspective provided opens ones eyes to the real plight and suffering of the American Indian. Few people realize how heavily populated the Western Hemisphere was during the 17th century. The depopulation of the native societies is without question the greatest massacre in recorded history.
