Jim Kape
Biography
Jim started life in the mountains of Wyoming and moved to Arizona while in 5th grade. He was drawn to high technology and video production during high school, and took his first job working at a local software developer. Since then he has worked for several small companies and also for a few large ones.
In 2010 Jim published his first book, a full color “how-to” book on making chess sets with a scroll saw. Making Wooden Chess Sets woke a writing passion in Jim that lives on through his different writing outlets.
Jim lives with his wife, Tina, and youngest son, Matthew, in Middle Tennessee. They moved there from Arizona in 2011 after being in a position where they had to move, they felt guided to Middle Tennessee and the Smyrna, Murfreesboro area in particular. Earlier in 2011 Jim accepted Christ into his life after some subterfuge by his wife. It is really a funny story and might be part of a future book plot.
Today, Jim spends his time working as a Project Manager in the high tech side of the automotive industry, and is also a licensed Realtor. He also spends time in several different ministry assignments within World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro.
