Crescent Suns e-Books
Publisher info
Crescent Suns e-Books is a co-op non-publishing house agency, designed with the intention of helping those indie authors who are not certain how to publish their stories or how to produce a quality cover for the stories they are ready to publish. We also (for a nominal fee) will read through your finished manuscript and proof it to eliminate common errors in spelling, grammar, syntax, formatting, etc., providing you, the author, with each error needing to be corrected. For a slightly higher fee we will edit your manuscript for you, eliminating all of the above errors without altering the flavor or intent of your creativity.
We do not accept every author who asks for help, mostly because some who have emailed Crescent Suns e-Books are already so polished that they have no need of our services, yet only lack the confidence to publish their stories on their own. We also will not accept those authors who by our estimation have no talent or skill in writing and would be wasting their money and our time enlisting our services. Yes, we realize this may only be our opinion, but that is the one we must stand by. Any story we decline is not with intent to belittle the author or the work submitted; it simply does not meet the criteria we set. Each author not accepted by Crescent Suns e-Books is perfectly able to publish his or her own works at Smashwords.com without our assistance. We wish all of you well in your endeavors.
Still others subscribe to the services of Crescent Suns e-Books by having us act on their behalf as their publisher online. That does not eliminate the need for those authors to "get the word out" on each of their authored masterpieces, since there is only so much we as a publisher can accomplish, but we are willing to assist in every manner possible to those who seek our help.
Do you have a story completed, but are not certain it's ready to be published? Send an email to: crescentsunspublishing@gmail.com. Please be patient - we have a lot to do currently and will answer each and every email received in as timely a manner as possible.

- Smashwords Style Guide
on March 18, 2010
Out of all the books I've ever read this book is the most important. Without Mark's help found in this book I wouldn't now have my first seven books published and ready for people to read. Mark made it easy to follow in order to get my work published. Sure, I messed up a few times, but that was my fault. Now that I know the proper way to follow Mark's work (Do what he says)it's super easy to get my latest book uploaded to Smashwords, along with the cover. Thanks, Mark.

Thanks to Mark's advice in this book my ebooks are already generating more downloads. It's not hard advice to follow (not rocket science for sure) and works easily enough. Thanks, Mark!
- Who Censored Roger Rabbit?
on April 15, 2010
I've always loved the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and since this is the book that movie was taken from I figured I'd give it a try. There was a lot different from the book to the movie, but we all know that's how the movie biz works, right? The differences were nothing to lessen my enjoyment of the book, rather they enhanced my reading, since I didn't know automatically what to expect from start to finish. I heartily recommend this book to anyone who has understood from our beloved Roger what the true essence of the universe really is.
- Resurrection
on Jan. 02, 2011
Enjoyable storyline and plot. Good that there was a limitation on the protagonist as far as what he could do with his unique ability. Characterizations were great. Sara Reinke can definitely tell a compelling story. The only detractions were the intermittent misspellings, but the overall story was great.
- The Birthday Surprise
on Jan. 02, 2011
The Birthday Surprise was a surprisingly enjoyable read. My only criticism is that is was too short. I would have enjoyed being titillated a bit longer (pun intended) by the eroticism of this story.
Great job on Jessica Morse's ability to write a compellingly erotic story.
- A Day For A Day
on March 03, 2011
In this debut novel from Donna Lee Comer you will find a slightly slow-paced, but nonetheless interesting story that is well worth the time spent on it.
If your heart is weak or you can't stomach violence toward children or women, don't read A Day For A Day. If you enjoy hard-edged drama and deranged serial killers, start reading it now.

- Dangerous Times
on March 03, 2011
This story has its intermittent errors in grammar that need to be cleaned up, but none of them are enough to detract from a story that is as imaginative as it is fulfilling.
Phillip Frey proves with Dangerous Times that he can deliver a tightly written page-turner that will leave you waiting for the sequel.

- The Accidental Rebel
on April 13, 2011
Though interesting and certainly of high enough quality to be worthy of a full-length novel of its own, there were so many errors of almost every type within this short story that the enjoyment, at least for me, was completely ruined. Why the author of this story failed to take the teeniest bit of time in order to proof the outgrowth of his own creation is beyond my understanding. It took me little enough time to read this story; certainly it wouldn't have taken much more time than that for the author to make certain this imaginative piece was of the highest standard.
- Reverse Metamorphosis book one of the Irrevocable Change trilogy
on April 14, 2011
In this raw, unbridled look at how an assassin might be made, R.E. Schobernd reveals intricacies of underworld crime that suggest he might know more than he's willing to admit, except within the pages of his fictional writing.
Irrevocable Change is a chilling look into the life of an underworld hit man unlike any you have ever read before or are likely to read ever again.

- Needing Nita
on May 01, 2011
Author Norah Wilson is exceptionally gifted when it comes to writing about lust - and sex - and the fulfillment thereof. Needing Nita is one such example of that talented gift. It may be a short, short story, but it's free at Smashwords.com and worth the read even if you had to pay for it.

- Land of Nod, The Artifact
on May 14, 2011
This well-crafted adventure may perhaps be written as a story for young adults, but it has all the requirements to make it equally as interesting a tale for adults (if you will excuse my using such a coarse and vulgar term) who yearn to be more than what we - er, I mean they - are; who see in this adventure tale the possibility once more of becoming that which each of us knows is buried deep within our beings, waiting, panting, begging to be set free.
Land of Nod, The Artifact, by Gary Hoover, an exciting action/adventure story that will set your minds free to be all that you knew you always were to begin with.

- The False Man
on June 04, 2011
An excellent drama of life through the eyes of a man forced by circumstance to assume the identity of not only a dead man, but someone he himself killed. The False man is one of those stories impossible to put down, because it makes the reader want to know what exactly is happening in the bizarre life of this False Man.

- The Dressing Room
on July 09, 2011
This is a great first story by a new author. Concise, imaginative, to the point, and definitely has the effect of arousing the reader the way erotica is supposed to. I'd hang around that dressing room any day.
- The Shower
on July 10, 2011
This story is a great read of lust and passion. I enjoyed the way the author described each and every moment of this titillating romp within the confines of a shower. It had me "up" from the first touch of his hand on her body to the last s*ck of her mouth on his c*ck.
Can't wait to see what this author comes up with for a complete novel, or at least a novella.
- Inspector Zhang Gets His Wish (A Free Short Story)
on July 12, 2011
Excellent story. Stephen Leather at his best.
This is a locked room mystery of the highest order. Just as with the old stories that have all but gone out of vogue (unfortunately) Inspector Zhang excels at looking at the clues he has available and deducing who the murderer is. Forensics be hanged! With a detective like this Asian Inspector, who needs DNA?
- Citizen Zero
on July 15, 2011
This is an interesting and action-filled story about the abuses of governmental power, even though I know it is only intended to be enjoyable fiction. Mark Cantrell does a great job of working the foibles of society and government into his tale of artificial reality.
Needs some better editing, but don't all our indie stories?

- God in the Machine: a short story
on Aug. 07, 2011
Interesting short story. Good writing skills and progression, but leaves me with too many unanswered questions. Still, well done.
- Frannie the Titless Wonder
on Sep. 06, 2011
Hit another home run out of the park for Nikki Palmer. She keeps writing hot little erotica numbers that are intended for one thing and one thing only (I think) and that's to get people aroused. This latest offering from this High Priestess of "hard romance" does exactly that in a strange little story about a girl with no tits who meets a nerd with no sexual control. Do they mesh together enough to get the job done? Read the story and find out for yourself.
- Fighting Faith
on Sep. 07, 2011
Excellent story content and execution.
If you enjoy romance with heavy sex, this one has it all. Very well written plot and storyline with so much great sex you won't be able to stand without a boner for a week.
Worked for me. heh
- Briefs (A Collection of Short Stories)
on Sep. 21, 2011
Dive on in and see what's waiting in this collection of briefs. The first one will definitely grab your attention, and if you're male, make you hard, if you're female, make you wet. Rush knows his shit when it comes to sex.
- Buttcrack Betty
on Oct. 06, 2011
As usual Nikki Palmer has written a humorous and highly sexualized story that I can only label as "Hard Romance". It stops short of being plain old porn, but goes far beyond the usual romance story, so what else can I call it?
If you want an entertaining read that will make oyou laugh and get you off, Buttcrack Betty is the one to do it.
- Pace's Naughty Christmas
on Dec. 12, 2011
Phew! That was an interesting read. Rebecca Glass has a style all her own that always makes me hard so that I shiver as I read the sexual scenes in her books. This one was no different.
- The Freebie
on Dec. 15, 2011
This is a GREAT book. The sex is a little lighter than most erotica, but that's good, cause the plot is more developed. Actually this story reminds me more of a classic literature story written back when people knew how to write. Not like the crap most people publish these days. Kathy Rowe is growing in her experience in writing and is on her way to being a serious talent to butt heads with. Wouldn't surprise me to see a "Big Time" print publisher checking her out real soon. And to think this book is FREE on here.
- The Chocolate Sword Swallower
on Jan. 01, 2012
K. Rowe has a unique style for an erotica writer. She doesn't always write a story the same way most in her genre would. Instead she seems to see the story and let it dictate what tone it will take, making each one she writes a unique experience. This one is like that. Here we have a story that shows us how things might be if a circus sword swallower got it on with a man who has a dick longer than most men's forearms. What developes is a steamy story that makes us wish we were one or the other of the participants. Reading this story will make you yearn to run away and join the circus, but only in the hopes of finding a sexual experience like the characters in this story.
- Dreams and Deja Vu
on Jan. 15, 2012
A truly sexy, HOT, mysterious story by Gwendolyn Cummings. This story moves us through a period of years with lots happening in the lives of the main characters in their real lives as well as their dreams. Much longer than what most erotica stories give us, too. Dreams and Deja Vu is a romantic/erotic read you will enjoy.
- Triple-Forged Coupling
on Jan. 18, 2012
Interesting and provocative short that on the outset appears to be straightforward M/F sex and turns out to be...Well, you read and find out.
- HYM and HUR
on Jan. 26, 2012
Anyone here old enough to remember the Twilight Zone? How about the early short stories of Isaac Asimov? If you are you'll get my meaning when I say reading Hym and Hur was like watching an episode of the Twilght Zone or reading one of Asimov's early stories. It has that "old time" feel to it which I find comforting and refreshing. Not many people write the way the "old masters" did and I think that's a shame. Hym and Hur is a brief, but interesting concept that perhaps could be expanded on a bit (Which is why I only gave it four stars), but still, it gets the story across in a fun way that made me feel as though I was sitting in front of the old black and white TV we had when I was a kid watching Rod Serling introduce this week's show.
Definitely worth reading.
- Riding with Jesse
on March 09, 2012
This is Gwen's BEST story to date. Loved the artistic style and imagery in all the scenes. The eroticism was seriously arousing to the max.
- Being Mrs. Dracula
on March 15, 2012
I read a lot. I always have. I love a good book and I enjoy vampire novels, when they're good ones. This book, Being Mrs. Dracula, is the best vampire novel I have read in a long time and to my sense of what makes a vampire a vampire and not merely a weak character in a two-dimensional imagination, these beings that walk the halls of Castle Dracula in this novel are the most realistic and true-to-form vampires I have read in many years. Bram Stoker would have been pleased with this novel. No, he would have been thrilled that someone had the talent and vision to see who and what his characters were well enough to dig deep down inside of them and make us believe these were actual people who truly lived these lives and traveled across Europe for more than four centuries.
This book rocks big time.

on Aug. 12, 2012
I just finished Spanking the Bride (That sounds so wrong when I say it like that) and I have to say that Gwendolyn Cummings did a very good job in portraying a story wherein the bride has a condition of liking sex - with more than one man - a bit too much. If you enjoy multiple partners (All at once) and a variety of sexual innovations, Spanking the Bride delivers.
