I’m a graduate of the intensive six-week Science Fiction and Fantasy program, Clarion West. My short stories and poems have appeared in Evergreen Review, Forge Journal, Cadillac Cicatrix, Willard & Maple, Sanskrit, Dos Passos Review, Louisiana Review and Red Wheelbarrow.
All of my work focuses on the use of imagination and altered states while crossing genre lines between realism and magical realism. I use my wry sense of humor to bring the best out of my characters as well as the people I interact with in my daily life.
For three years I lived in Wilmington, North Carolina where I worked up a storm writing a novel about hurricanes. Last year I moved back to my native Vegas with the hopes of taking part of the creative magic in this vibrant city. Recently, I started a literary magazine based in Las Vegas named Helen.
My work as a certified creativity coach is focused on helping others in realizing their creative life too.
