John Guy Collick
I was born in Yorkshire, England. When I was 10 years old my grandfather gave me a copy of A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs, and from then on I was hooked on science fiction and fantasy. I worked for Scotland Yard before moving to Japan for ten years to lecture in literature and philosophy. I am the author of a book on Shakespeare, essays on literature and several screenplays. Thumb is my first science fantasy novel.
I now live in Hampshire, England.

The sequel to Thumb. A fast paced Science Fiction novel set at the very end of time. If humanity is to survive Max Ocel must contact the Machine Men who live in the Heart and Mind of the Colossus, an immense creature built by mankind to carry it into the next universe. But the way onward is a deadly maze inhabited by lost creatures transformed by the darkness at the end of time.
The universe is empty. The stars are dead. The worlds are no more. The last humans struggle to create a god to save them from the utter end. In the shadow of this colossus Max Ocel rescues a beautiful stranger from the clutches of an insane giant, and sets in motion a chain of events that threatens to wipe out mankind itself. The first book in a science fantasy series of incredible imagination.
