John Michael Hileman
John Michael Hileman lives in central Maine with his loving wife, precious daughter, and hygienically-challenged, crazy-haired, teenage boy. He is a self-taught musician, singer, songwriter, graphic artist, television producer, and, oh yeah-- he writes books.
John is currently the head of the video department at Calvary Chapel Central Maine, where he produces the Godsword television series, leads worship with the kids, and performs a variety of other creative duties.
John served in the first Gulf war, has owned and operated several small businesses, and was the Production Director of WBGR-TV, where he produced three New England wide television programs as well as several critically acclaimed video shorts.
He has written at least one short story, countless songs, two novels, and even a poem or two, (he’s so romantic). He even translated several chapters of his first novel, Vrin: ten mortal gods, into an audio version on mp3.com, where it stayed at number one for seven weeks in a row. The first three chapters of Vrin were also made into a graphic novel.
When John isn’t working or writing, he’s usually making people laugh by saying stuff like, “I’d give my right arm to be ambidextrous,” or “When life throws you lemons, DUCK!”
