Biography

I was born and raised on the bigger of the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago and have always been fascinated with the history and culture of my people. Add this to my love of sharing information- mostly unsolicited- and now you understand how natural it was for me to pitch my tent behind the Non-Fiction Author wagon.

When did you first start writing?

I started writing around age eleven. I'd always loved reading but then my first story came to me while I was minding my own business daydreaming and I couldn't sleep for wanting to put it all on paper.

What's the story behind your latest book?

Myths and Maxims is about the creative ancient advice of the Caribbean used and practiced today, as well as some of the phrases we repeat to remember these wise teachings.
