Writing Career: J.P. Osterman’s career includes extensive writing. J.P. graduated from the University of San Diego with a BA in English (emphasis Writing), an MA in Education from Azusa Pacific University and taught high school English and writing for 8 years in Southern California. J.P. won the prestigious Rupert Hughes Award at the seminal Maui Writer’s Conference and First Place in the Southern California Writer’s conference for her one-act play, “The Man Next to Me”. She also won a very important award as Outstanding Teacher for J.P.'s students literary prizes in writing - 1st thru 4th place – 4 years in a row at the 3 million student Los Angeles County contest. Studied graduate-level psychology at Texas State for a year.
