Holding an MFA in Poetics from the New College of California and a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law, J-P has spent far too long thinking about how language affects human behavior.
His poetry centers on the Stevensian tradition of the poetic for poetry's sake. His fiction is best described as speculative, mixing the real and the fantastic in equal measure.
