Jude Liebermann

Self published sensual and erotic romance novelist

Smashwords Interview

When did you first start writing?
I've been writing ever since I could hold a pencil. I started with poetry at about 5 or 6 and then wrote my first mystery at about 9. Of course my stories have gotten longer and more elaborate as I've matured, but it's a shame I don't still have that mystery! Though I do have the first romance I wrote at 13. I even published it, unedited, on my site's forum. I can't imagine my life without writing. It's my passion.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I just finished the prequel to my erotic scifi romance Sierra Sky. I've called it Kings of Klenar and am offering both an erotic and a sensual version. I've decided to do this since I don't want to exclude anyone who doesn't like erotica but would like to read an action packed interspecies science fiction romance.

  • Masquerade (Short Story) on Aug. 08, 2013

Yes, it is very hot as soon as Tyler appears. Only negative is the lack of editing, but polish up this baby and it will be spectacular! You have a gift writing about sex! ;-)
  • Unforgiven Pleasure on Aug. 11, 2013

It says that the story is unedited, so clearly the author knows there are typos. So ignoring those, I was captivated by Draken and enjoyed reading from his POV, and the sex was HOT. I would also like to read a more extended version that starts with Susie's betrayal and when Lara gets to seek her vengeance.
  • A Ride Home on Aug. 22, 2013

Wow! I don't usually like reading about anal sex, but you had me on the edge of my seat for the entire ride. Great job!
  • Preserved on Aug. 24, 2013

    Woah, that was intense!
  • Lillith - Time in the Garden on Aug. 24, 2013

I have often heard there was a Lilith before Eve, so this was a credible explanation of why Eve was needed. Well written and gripping. That Adam sure was a pig. :)
  • Daughter For Rent Part 1 on Aug. 30, 2013

Non consensual is one thing, but tricking your daughter into that type of situation? That mother deserves to be boiled in her own fluids. And that last sentence before "To be continued" just doesn't sit well with me. If it weren't for the description, where you say she is 22, I thought she was closer to 12, which really made me feel sick. Sorry, but UGH!
  • Picture Perfect on Nov. 19, 2013

There were parts of this story that I loved, and then there were parts that made me roll my eyes. I almost gave it three stars but didn't want to detract too much from that 5 star rating you already got, so decided 4 stars was best. So consider this more of a 3.5 review. What did I love? How easy it was to read, and how much I enjoyed Cat and Nate meeting and falling in love. The story line was believable and while the sex was mild erotic at best, it was very sensual and hot. I was on the edge of my seat for most of it. What did I not like? There were a few inconsistencies in the story that made me groan, and I even growled at the screen once. How could Nate not realize Cat's ex was at the bar, when he saw the breakup happen right in front of him? And how could she never have taken a shower at his place after nearly living there for weeks? Also, him calling her sweetheart all the time was ridiculous. That's was a woman calls her child, not a buff young guy to his lover. Still, the story was sweet and heart warming, and I'm really glad I read it. I stayed up until midnight trying to finish it but finally had to give up and go to bed, only to finish it first thing in the morning, so yeah, you have a great way with words! Good job!
  • The Bad Trip on Nov. 20, 2013

I felt I needed to give your writing another chance. You do write well, and are very descriptive. A bit too much POV swapping though. You should have stayed with her the whole time, since we didn't need to get in their sick minds. This is definitely one of a woman's worst nightmares, and I shudder at the thought of it.
