Judy Powell has always been an avid reader of romance novels. Her love for people of diverse cultures led her to write 'Hot Summer', 'Hot Chocolat' and 'Some Like It Hot' which are set in the USA and the Caribbean and are a celebration of the beauty of diverse cultures.

Judy has lived and worked in various countries including The USA, France, Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Canada. She has also travelled extensively in the Caribbean and Latin America. She likes to feature world cultures in her work. She now lives in Canada.
