- Tactician: Tactics Anthem Chronicles

This book allows the reader to have a first person like perception of the story, which I find quite immersive. Though set in a medieval like time, it contains witty touches that though not straying from the theme, does bring up modern views of an old society. Overall, it has a refreshing and entertaining take on storytelling without taking itself over seriously. Would like to see more of this role-playing adventure read.

This re-imagining of the tale of King Arthur, brings us to the aftermath of his fall. The story concentrates on a group of less experienced new generation of personalities with adventure in their hearts. What I find interesting about this book are the modern views the characters have, which is woven into their actions and dialogues. Makes one question the ethics, morality and behaviour of both the old and ours, but in a light-heart non-offending way. An interesting fun read, worth it's affordable price too.

This book is like a scribe's telling of the lores of the land of Bretunia which the game it's based upon has been set in. Though mostly descriptive details of how the environment works, the satirical almost Monty Python like comments in the description makes it a fun "journal" to read.

This book of lores continues to explain the social systems in the world as is with the previous title TACTICS ANTHEM: Tactics Cards 1 to 24 http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/68647 Though more technical in delivery, one might appreciate the intricate/ finer construction of the world behind the game. Also makes ne wonder if the game would eventually be able to develop more depth to reflect these designs. If understanding/ exploring concepts is your thing, this would be a nice choice.
