J V Siratt
Siratt is a hobbyist writer that was once confused for a professional and pulled into the world of journalism. After a short career as writer and editor, he did a little work as a freelancer, attempted the obligatory GreatAmericanNovel, and spent time churning copy for a content mill. With the production skills he picked up out of necessity as the night editor (I mean really, is composition going to come back in to redo a page at 11pm just because your jr beat reporter corrupted the front page?), he also spent time as Production Manager for a regional advertising circular.
Back to being a hobbyist and thankfully not relying on his words to pay the bills, Siratt can experiment again. His first publication through Smashwords was a small package of old short stories he put together to try out the new publishing medium. His current interests include non-linear narratives, hyperfiction and metafiction.
