Jim Weaver

Biography

Weaver Book Company began in 2013 as the result of the vision of Jim Weaver, who has more than 25 years of experience in Christian academic publishing. After graduating from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in 1987, he then worked for the academic division of Baker Book House, Kregel Publications, and Thomas Nelson before embarking on his own. His passion is to take the riches of the academy and make them accessible to the church. Jim has two daughters and three grandchildren. When not working on his publications, he enjoys golfing, listening and playing bluegrass gospel music, and reading.
