Biography

Kim Piermattei (K.A. Pierce) has been a litigation attorney in Philadelphia for 21 years. She graduated from Dickinson College majoring in in sociology and psychology. While studying for her bachelor’s degree, Kim participated in an internship in the British Parliament, where she worked as a researcher in the House of Commons, supporting a multi-term Member. She drafted several legislative bills while learning the intricacies of international politics.
Kim obtained her juris doctorate from Temple School of Law. She gained valuable litigation experience interning in the Philadelphia Public Defender’s Office before entering a local practice as a trial attorney.
Licensed in three states and the Federal courts of Pennsylvania, Kim shifted her focus from criminal defense to civil trial work, which includes mass tort litigation, medical malpractice and product liability cases.
In 2002 she founded a business that provides corporate catering services to Fortune 100 companies and their private jets while continuing to practice law pro bono.
Kim Piermattei lives in Yardley, PA, with her husband and their two Great Pyrenees dogs.
