Biography

Karen Kropf began talking to teens about sex, love and relationship myths in 1998. It ultimately led to the founding of Positively Waiting, a non-profit organization, offering free public school presentations. Thousands of young people every year respond enthusiastically to her challenge to benefit from sexual self-control.

Did You MEAN to Raise a Sexually Active Teen? is Karen Kropf's second book. It's a humorous guide for parents who who are afraid their kids will ask, "Were you a virgin when you got married?"

Her first book was a wake up call to singles not to make relational decisions based on sexual chemistry, called, "Sex Makes People Stupid: How to Avoid Ending Up With a Weenie".

She and her husband still offer public school presentations, plus a variety of workshops for parents, couples and singles. They live in Southern California.
