Karen Michelle Nutt

Biography

My name is Karen Michelle Nutt and I’m an author of paranormal romances, writing for Tease Publishing LLC, The Wild Rose Press, Highland Press and Victory Tales Press.

Time Travels have been a passion of mine. I have always been intrigued with the possibility of being able to reach back in time and change the past. Common sense says influencing the past isn’t impossible, but I can’t help but wonder: What if I can?

Fallen Angels, vampires and shape shifters embrace my darker side where their worlds intertwine with ours.

I share my life with a wonderful man, three lovely children and house full of pets. In my spare time, I review for Paranormal Reviews, a great place to find paranormal books and other genres. I love to travel and have enjoyed the rolling green hills of Ireland; the Italian renaissance of Florence, Italy; the wild west of Tombstone, Arizona; the historical essence of Salem and Boston, Massachusetts as well as the intrigue of St Augustine, Florida.

I'm rating this a solid 4 1/2 stars! Mila Groso dedicated her life to developing cures. Now she's trying to cure death to bring back her husband and daughter who were brutally murdered. Only the cure may cost Mia her life. This tale is intriguing on so many levels. What wouldn't any of us do to bring back a love one if only to hold them in our arms for one more time. The tale is fast paced and suspenseful as Mila fights to have her family back even when other are willing kill her before she can do the impossible. I recommend this story to sci-fi fans and anyone who likes a good suspense thriller. Well done!

Helen has a sixth sense of being able to find people or items. Her gift leads her to Simon McAllister, a teen that went missing a few years ago. Only this boy is a sword-yielding man now, living in 16th century Scotland with a family of Druids, who think nothing of time travel, magic and shape shifting. Simon has lived in both worlds 16th century and the 21st century. Helen has enemies in her time and there is a war threatening Simon's family in Scotland, but Simon will do what he must to protect Helen and his family. The moment Helen arrives in his world, he knows the Ancients brought them together for a reason and his destiny will now be linked with hers. The attraction between them is obvious, but will Helen be able to accept his guarded secret of being a shifter? HIGHLAND SHIFTER from the first page takes the reader on a journey to discover the mystery behind the ancient book and the pendant that possesses power beyond belief. The Druid magic and the secondary characters all add to the charm of this time travel where the past and the present intertwine. Helen handles the time travel well, but there is still the vulnerability that is expected when one's life has been drastically changed. Simon is fierce, loyal and a man of honor in every sense of the word. Helen and Simon's attraction to each other is heartfelt as they work together to solve the mystery that links both their worlds together. This is the fourth book in the MacCoinnich series, but it can be read as a standalone. I have not read the other books, but look forward to catching up on the series. I must know how Simon's loving family began their journey. At the end of Highland Shifter, Ms. Bybee teases the readers with a sneak peek of a future book in the MacCoinnich Time Travel Series. Other books in the series: Binding Vows (Book 1) Silent Vows (Book 2) Redeeming Vows (Book 3) Karen Michelle Nutt, Author of The Warriors for the Light (Fallen Angels series) Reviewed for PNR Paranormal Reviews
