Karen White-Owens is a lifelong resident of Detroit, Michigan. She earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and a master's of library and information science from Wayne State University. In addition to writing, she is a director of a northern Macomb County public library. Ms. Owens is the author of nine romance novels, three novellas and two short non-fiction works. Currently she works as a part-time instructor at Wayne State University and Wayne County Community College District. Gary, her husband of twenty-four years is her most loyal fan.
