Kelvin Tarrance was born in Alabama in the early sixties. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a B.S in Mathematics and Illinois State University with a M.S. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. He is married to Janieen and they have two energetic boys, Joshua and Jordan.
Throughout his life, Kelvin worked as a volunteer with various organizations. Some of his volunteer activities included work with organizations such as: YMCA youth programs; the United Way; Parent Teacher Organizations; Unit 5 Board of Education’s Citizen Advisory Council; and Jack and Jill of America.
Kelvin is a knowledge seeker who enjoys learning new things and sharing what he learned with others. He was taught, and encouraged, to be a life-long learner by his parents and grandparents. He is presently increasing his knowledge in a broad range of topics, such as: computer technologies, education, book writing, child-rearing, and relationships.
