This is actually not such a bad story, if more than a little unoriginal.
The problem, and the reason it didn't feel right to give it more stars, is that it's in serious need of copy-editing. It's full of grammar errors, misused capitalisation, repeated words, and typos.
I hope the quality of Alan's work gets better, though, and I look forward to reading more.
This is a very compelling story. In the world that Mr Rovel has created, men exist solely as pets or potential pets for women, and are either "collared" or not. Even if they are collared, there are always other women fighting to remove the collars placed by other women to place their own.
Women are either seductresses fighting with each other to claim men and women as pets of their own, or they are pets to other women.
The only problem is, much like Rovel's first book (The Lady in Black, this book is of poor quality. It is difficult to get into it with so many typos, misused capitalisation, inconsistent use of semicolons and quotation marks.
It's a pity, because this is world I truly wouldn't mind living in! :-)
This story got me hard, and what more could you want? It would've got me harder if it went on just a tad longer. ;-)
It was well written, but there's a weird change from past to present tense about halfway through. I couldn't help but notice it, because there's no discernible reason for it.
Otherwise, not a bad little read.
This story was amazing! Right up my alley!
Tara humiliates her slave in public, he runs around naked, he fails to control his bladder, he meets her friend... and gets viciously punished for "embarrassing" her.
Can't wait to read more from this author!
I never thought I'd be into female-on-female, but this story was really arousing! I found the blasphemy a little distracting at times, though, since I get offended by such things.
The FFM scene at the end made me a little sad, because it was finally over and the narrator gets what she wanted, but isn't really sure it's what she wanted after all. The ending was a bit disappointing for me for other reasons as well, which I won't reveal for fear of giving away too much.
