Kevin Boyd

Kevin H. Boyd was born in Stevenston, a working-class town on the west coast of Scotland in 1965. Born with a facial defect of a Cleft Pallette and a Hair Lip, he spent his early years having his uniquness pointed out to him on a regualr basis and so he knew deep down there must be something more to life than just being accepted by the group think of his fellow Scotsmen.

Kevin, at the age of 19, did manage to escape from his childhood home in Irvine, Scotland to the cultural hub of expansive thinking that is Brighton, on the south coast of England.

Kevin begin his working life as a computer programmer in the newly emerging world of digital media. He worked on a whole range of emerging technologies including interactive video products in the 1980s, the Internet in the 1990s and Mobile phones in the 2000s.

Kevin is also father to Simon, who he believes will, one day, set the world alight with his own creative vision and entrepeneurial spirit.

Kevin’s most outrageous venture to date was when he spent 4 years trying to make it in the British Indie Film Industry. Culminating in attending the Cannes Film Festival in 2008 with the short film The Americano, which didn’t make him famous or rich, so he decided to put that dream back on the shelf, for now…

Kevin has spent most of his life trying to figure out a better, smarter and more creative way to be in this world and he now feels that its time to share with you, what he has learned, as an author.
