A little about Kiara: My name is Kiara and I am extremely goofy. I love to laugh and I love the people that can make me do it non stop. I love to do things besides read and write which shocks most people because that's usually all they see me doing but the truth is I like to do a lot more. I love to draw, I practice drawing every and anything. I also love photo manipulation and have created all of my own book covers. I enjoy singing and dancing--enjoy doing it but never said I was good at doing it. And I enjoy being a girl (:D) I come from a big family of nine but over the years has managed to diminish the number down to three. You're probably wondering what I mean by that. You're probably questioning if I am some murderer who killed off my family members but that isn't at all true it just simply means that there used to be nine people in my house and now there are only three. Me, my twin sister and little brother. I nearly forgot to mention my two rottweilers Angle who I've had for ten years and Reka who I have had for only eight months--I think it might be nine now.
A little about Keya-J: My name is Keya-J and I have been writing for a long time. I love to be creative so I'll try everything under the blue moon (:D)
I go by Keya J so that is what you'll see all of my books under.
I love to Write! So much in fact that I currently have about 6 books so far that have all been started and that are now waiting--none too patiently--to be finished.
I have been inspired by so many so I can't really name them all here but I love to read all genres. I have an open mind really to everything--people included. I hate to be too judgmental but I do like to give my opinion and there are some that appreciate it--I am one of them (:D)
An important fact you might want to know about me and my writing is that I have a love/hate relationship with cliffhangers but tend to use them a lot (xD)

I am going to release a new book--hopefully before winter break--for you all to enjoy. It is apart of a series of 4 so far [key word: SO FAR]and there is nothing normal about it. I know for a fact that most of you are going to hate Harlow Bentley which is indeed the point but then of course I'm going to make you fall madly in love with her--you'll see. The series is called Redemption, the 1st book is called-Without Redemption, the 2nd-Below Redemption, 3rd-Redemption, and the 4th is-Above Redemption.

~Harlow Bentley is a troubled teen. She's been locked up on multiple occasions to the point where her Parole Officer is now on speed dial. Harlow's mother doesn't seem to be helping matters any as she is too busy with her many toys as Harlow liked to refer to the drunken men in her mother's life as. Harlow's older sister Rhea seems to be the only one with the slightest bit of faith in Harlow but Charles, her sisters best friend doesn't seem to have the same faith as Rhea and thinks that all Harlow is doing is causing her sister pain.
After a horrendous attach Harlow finds herself in a coma. Once she comes to she realizes that she has a conscience; a visible, talking, walking, annoying, handsome conscience who is suspiciously absent of his angle half.
Harlow soon finds herself in an uncompromising situation that might turn her life completely upside down and it doesn't help matters any when Harlow finds out that this uncompromising situation could be the thing that brings everyone else's life right side up.~ WITHOUT REDEMPTION (Coming Soon)

With everything I write there is an undertone to it, you may not understand it or catch onto it in the beginning but you will indeed find out by the end. Everything I write has it's purpose.
I am a starving author who relies on my readers comments so please, please comment away. Think of me as the Goliath Pop the Pig toy you bought your kids. Keya, Pop the Author. Directions: fill her with comments until she bursts. (:})

Smashwords Interview

Describe your desk
My desk is full of papers, multi-colored pens ~I absolutely hate to write with pencils, you'll never see a pencil in my possession unless I am drawing~ and probably some snack I had the night before but never finished. (:D)
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a not so safe area but I wouldn't want to move because my mother's mother lived there and then my mother and now hopefully one of us, so I would like more than anything to be the one to take up residence there.

I've read many angel stories where 9 times out of 10 they ended the same and this serious exceeded all expectations by far, and was the only book to change my opinion, it literally keeps u turning the page and never keeps you guess'n or too long
  • Dangerous (Element Preservers Series, Book 1) on April 22, 2014

I really enjoyed this story, I was drawn to Adrian's character immediately and felt a bit bad for Paula and Michael. It seemed quite fitting that Ria had ended up with the disease and I enjoyed her brothers few appearances in the story. I really enjoyed it!and would most defiantly recommend it (:D)
  • Blue Heaven, The Blue Series Volume 7 on May 01, 2014

This was AMAZING. I enjoyed this book more than you know. I was so overjoyed to see that my David had returned :) This was absolutely, positively, with-out a seconds worth of doubt a great read! I almost fell in love with the authors way of kind of tying everything together the way that she had. My only complaint--regret--would have to be that I hadn't read it earlier.
  • Broken (Broken #1) on June 11, 2014

OMyGosh, I don't think all of the words in the dictionary can fully explain all that I want to say about this awesome, heartbroken-ly beautiful story. My feelings toward both characters will forever be conflicting. UH! I can't even explain how beautiful that story was (:()
  • Liberating Mr. Gable, Part One on June 11, 2014

When I first read this book a lot of things was going through my head, like how stupid she is for picking up a stranger and that really doesn't make sense once you find out what she's been through but in the end it was all worth it and I was completely destroyed by the cliff hanger at the end. Good Read! Great start to what I'm sure will be a wonderful story.
  • His: Part One on Sep. 11, 2014

I am so shocked that there is no review for this book, [it's probably because everyone read meet me half way and I'm with the band and things in that order] I read this book first before any of the others and absolutely loved it. The I read Her's and loved it that much more and then being the read-a-holic that I am I went back and read Meet me Halfway and then I'm with the band before ending it with In Utero. Most of it was really just a recap from different point of views but I liked it so much I didn't care and read it all anyways. YOU have an AWESOME mind my friend. Now I'm going to go attach the Blazed series in the same exact order I did this one (:})
  • The Acropolis on Oct. 06, 2014

YEA CON! Ok moving past my excitement I really enjoyed this book and found myself feeling very sad for Con in the Redemption series and now...well lets say I am happy now. GO CON! Though everything isn't all peachy of course there are problems but...GO CON! I definitely recommend this book for the reading (=D)
  • Blue Flame, The Blue Series Volume 8 on Dec. 02, 2014

I thought it only fair seeing as though this is the final book in the Blue Series to keep an open mind to all possible roads to be taken in order to tie a series such as this up. So, with that being said... Oh, My God (and I most definitely meant that quite literally) this was by far SO unexpected, and I loved every single, nerve-racking, second of it. Just to dig into it a little more, to give my complete and accurate review of this final installment, *caution mild spoilers* I shall begin by stating what I loved the most, about this riveting ending. First and foremost, the switching rolls between Dillon and David were so unexpected...yet, if you truly, honestly, thought about it, it was so right in so many, many ways. The author took time to actually describe why in fact the titles bestowed upon the brothers, was indeed befitting and literally quite forces you to see it in only that light; to see her side of things. Azmodeus eventual redemption wasn't all that unexpected just thinking back to his though process back in book seven but it most certainly didn't happen the way you'd think. I am glad that Gabriel got what was rightfully bestowed upon her, she is her own kind of wicked and He finally decided to capitalize on the evil that everyone else seemed to see in her. I also loved how the author managed to bring almost EVERYONE back, so if you particularly liked a certain character you certainly got your chance to see them again and I loved that because I for one was hoping Joel would make a sudden appearance and that he did. Now, there wasn't much I didn't like about the story except Jessica's constant capitalizing on her and Dillon's relationship. At some point she came across annoyingly whiny but yet her determination to fight for a love she believed in kept me interested to see what she'd do. Overall, I really did enjoy the entire series and this was a wonderful way to end it.
