I enjoyed it very much. It left me wanting more, and, since it ends a little abruptly I hope there will be a sequel. The characters are interesting and I want to get to know them better.

Fast paced. Coherent story. Well written. As a fan of historical fiction, I enjoyed this book. It is a sympathetic (to the rebels) portrayal of Spartacus and the third servile war. Altogether a good adventure. Now that the sequel is out I will pursue the story with pleasure.
