KJ Griffin

Biography

KJ Griffin was born and grew up in London. He worked for one year as a gap student in a remote location of Tanzania before completing a four-year degree at Oxford University.
For the next 10 years he worked first as a teacher in Kenya for 3 years, then in the state-owned Saudi oil company for over 5 years, which he left to set up a business newspaper back in Nairobi, Kenya in 1998.
In 1999, he returned to the UK to work in education, where he still works in a managerial role. Guy Fawkes Day is his second novel, significantly overhauled since the original version was conceived and written in 1997-8. His other completed works include Mombasa Road and Mombasa Road Retravelled and he is currently working on a historical tale set in the French Revolution called The Sword of the Republic.
He lives, works and writes in London.
