Mud and Gold (Promises to Keep: Book 2)

This story broke my heart, Amy is now a friend of mine. I cheered her triumphs and nearly wept at her failures.
Shayne writes such a lovely tale of a long ago time, it has actually changed the way I speak at times.
very interesting conclusion. It gets a little Hollywood-flaky at the end with the final encounter, but the love story is there, it's exciting. Now we just need a third to update us on the situation with the love-birds.
Intense, in all the good ways! Telling the story with three points of view would have been tricky if the author wasn't as talented as she is. It all tied together, rarely repeated itself and flowed like a good story should.
This book was actually a pleasant surprise. I didn't know what to expect and was treated to a humourous, fun story. Never really got bored, just eager to get onto the next step on the adventure!

Very exciting book that had loads of promise. The interaction with the two main characters builds a great tension and intrigue. Then the final confrontation comes along. I was confused. I suppose there was a deeper meaning in this book, I clearly missed it. Hope you find it, because I think it's an important lesson.

Funny and enjoyable to read. Thanks for bringing the characters into my life!
Really enjoyed this story. Was worried the 2nd wouldn't be avail but it is. So i'm happy to follow the characters I have grown to enjoy. Love the romance that is blooming and the mystery of Cat's life.
This book was a bit confusing for my sleep deprived brain at first. Once I caught on to the pace, which took little time, I was very eager to get back to the story of the characters. Very enjoyable!

I enjoyed the pace and style of this book. A little Fast and Furious, a little touch of nightmare and mystery rolled into a great storyline.
I am hoping the author can find time to finish the series, as I am curious about the outcome of Kat and Kris's search and their new lives!
XGeneration 1: You Don't Know Me (a Young Adult Superhero Series)

Loved the way this book was written, great pace and only a little frustrating. It's set in the '80's and I kept thinking someone should use a cell phone (my own mistake!).
Really enjoyed the characters and look forward to more about Scott and Janis. Even the mean guys don't seem so mean once the secret is revealed.
