Ok so I wondered if a Gringo Gypsy and glide head could write? He challenged me to find out by offering his book for free. What's to lose? John (Ole) Olson's book about his flying adventures "Taking Mexico Flying" had me in stitches for most of the read. It is the first full book I have made it through on my kindle. It contains stories of Mexico that amazing land South the border as well as stories of his birth as a pilot in the Reno/Tahoe area. It is well written and flows in a series of dis-connected chapters that read as a series of flights through as a traveling ultra-lite/hang-glider pilot. It contains the hilarious story of "Linda Castle" and the pulquería, this alone is worth the price of the book (free!). I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in flight and Mexico. If fact I went and bought the other two books in the series and my sides still hurt. Guess I am a "Glidehead".
