Kathi M. Nidd
Biography
Kathi grew up in Ottawa where she began weaving stories as soon as she could write. She continues to do so for pleasure and a creative outlet. As a healthcare consultant, her travels to hospitals across North America provide great inspiration for stories and characters. A strong love of nature and animals and an interest in the paranormal provide the theme of the interconnectivity of beings in most works.
In 2014 Kathi took a hiatus from consulting to focus on writing her novel and novella. During that time she had two stories published in CommuterLit magazine, a Flash Fiction poem published in the From the Depths edition of the Haunted Waters Press, a poem nominated as a finalist by the Poetry Institute of Canada and subsequently published in their anthology of verse Island Waters (available January 2015). In July Kathi took a leap into the romance genre where her story In Love with the Words won a place in the Romancing the Story anthology from DigiWriting/Blue Moon Publishers.
Kathi currently resides with her husband, Jeff, and writing companion, “Brooklynn” the schnauzer.
